This International Women’s Day we would like to celebrate the women in our department in all different roles. From the Fire Chief, training officers, captains, lieutenants, senior fire fighters and fire fighters. Women working in specialties such as instructors, fire inspectors, communications specialists, and emergency managers.
We are proud to be a leader in the fire service with our membership. This year we are celebrating IAFF Local 18 first female president, Katrina Davison, as well as the other women working within the local as VP, committee chair’s, committee and group members.
